BUCHANAN AT THE COOLY

Melbourne rock band, Buchanan, are coming to the Gold Coast this July and will be tearing up a new one at the Coolangatta Hotel.

Since forming in 2009, Buchanan have become a Triple J staple and have toured with the likes of Gypsy and the Cat, Kimbra and Georgia Fair.

Now, after a slew of singles and a an EP, the boys of Buchanan will be releasing their first studio album this year, Human Spring. The was produced by Catherine Marks with additional production by frequent collaborator Tim Cross. The band released the title track, “Human Spring”, earlier this year on April 12 as the second single off the album and, with no surprises, Triple J added the single to high rotation immediately.

The fact that it took this long for the boys to actually release an album was torturing us but, now that it has happened, we can only state that the it was all definitely worth the wait. And the fact that they are coming up to the Gold Coast to launch it is just the sweetener on the cake.
