On the 13th, 14th and 15th of January at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre the most prevalent form of mass culture art of the 2000’s is going to present in a big way. It comes in the form of SurfNInk.

Artists like Nikko Hurtado, who specialises in tattoos such as the one seen here, will not only be available for bookings on the day, but will also give time to enthusiasts and trade professionals alike in the form of extensive seminars and workshops aimed at raising the bar in the national and international tattoo scenes.

You can also take in the art of ‘tapping’ from the masters of this ancient body art stemming from Pacific Island warriors. If it’s the warriors themselves you are after, you can take in pro-wrestling, Jui-Jitsu, and Muay Thai fights over the course of the show.

This is a great weekend for people who love ink and  those who love to be around those who love ink.
