Magic Mountains

In his newest series “Magic Mountains” German hyperrealist painter Marco Reichert revives the references to classical landscape paintings but again based in his own constructed world. Psychedelic shapes and a type of Pop-art complexion brings the observer into an environment that has to be explored. These ‘Mountains’ remind us of silk, glaciers with candy filled valleys or scientific macro-photography- this intermixture of contexts creates new content. (Images Courtesy of MarcoReichert.com)
