In conjunction with Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, we are currently running a 3 week training course at QT Gold Coast designed to give students a basic introductory into cookery. Under Executive Chef Luke Stepsys guidance, students are taught the cookery basics before assisting the QT team in the daily preparation of foods for both Bazaar and Stingray.
Devised to mimic realistic employment conditions, this course gives potential future chefs an insight into how a high quality establishment is run, hopefully inspiring some/if not all of the students to take on a cookery apprenticeship.
